St. Valentino (Whole Foods 2.14.09)
Just in time for the holiday, Larry’s has released two products. The first of which is a re-issue of an old favorite. Whole Foods has Larry’s St. Valentino blend as their free sample today. I just walked around the store sipping on a small cup…and you better bet I went back for a few refills! It’s a sweet and savory blend with just a hint of chocolate in the aftertaste. You can feel the love in every sip! Additionally, at my visit last week, Larry provided me with their new brewing guide titled, Coffee is Like Kissing. It’s an in-depth look at the various ways of serving coffee, proving once and for all there is no one way to do it. Page by page (100% recycled paper and veggie based ink!) various brewing techniques are coupled with a method of kissing. There is the “Mrs. Clever/Percolator Method”, the “Press Gently Yet Firmly/French Press Pot”, the “Old Reliable/Drip Method” and the “12 Hours and Counting/Cold Press Method” just to name a few.
